Positioning strategy in marketing and digital platform development for a sustainable design & planning startup in New York

Brief
This project was a design sprint collaboration with the client Supernature Lab, a regenerative design and technology organization dedicated to transforming the built environment's current structures.

Our objective was to support Supernature Lab in its mission to raise awareness to scale its concept. We proposed a comprehensive strategy aimed at establishing them as a bio-planning leader focused on sustainable urban development. Our approach included fostering influential mindsets and creating impactful touchpoints through marketing and digital product design.

My Role
I worked closely with other design strategists to suggest possible and impactful solutions for SNL's challenges. In the design phase, I mainly focused on supporting the development of a B2B networking website prototype, along with advanced marketing solutions to enhance collaboration and market presence.

How might we leverage Supernature Lab's vision to create a global shift towards bioplanning?

Our suggested strategy included four key pillars from building up awareness to make it happen.

According to social proof theory, people tend to follow the actions and beliefs of others, especially those they perceive as credible or influential. By building awareness and connections, Supernature Lab is able to leverage social proof to establish credibility and attract more followers, partners, and clients who are starting caring about a sustainable urban future.

1. Future Meets Present
-- Green City Living Is Implementable!

From doubts about whether Supernature Lab's vision is merely conceptual or can become reality, we derived the question: "How might Supernature Lab make people believe in a bio-planned future?"

To address this, we proposed that Supernature Labs create and launch a future ideas solicitation activity with certain formats. This initiative would engage architects, design studios, urban planners, and local communities to generate and sketch ideas based on specific requirements, with the best works selected for implementation at designated locations.Insight: "Looks pretty cool, but are these just concepts or reality?"



2. City Dream Box

"How might we inspire younger millennials, Gen Z, and Generation Alpha to “take matters into their own hands”?

Supernature Labs, a silent change enabler.
Put Boxes with prompts to stimulate people's thinking and discussions by collecting their ideas of their dream city future.
